Complete & Partial Dentures

Our focus at Gallant Dental Group is to ensure that we keep and maintain your natural teeth for as long as possible.  However, we recognize that at times there is no other option than to have a tooth removed. If this does occur, it is essential to have that tooth replaced as quickly as possible to prevent bone loss in your jaws.

We understand the toll tooth loss can take on our patients; it can affect your self-confidence and your diet, and prevent you from living the happy, active life you seek. We pride ourselves on being able to find a tooth replacement option that fits your lifestyle and budget.

Complete Dentures

Patients without teeth often lack proper nutrition which can lead to additional health problems. If you are missing your teeth, complete (full) dentures are not only an excellent option to improve your appearance, but they also improve your overall health.

A complete denture replaces all of your teeth if they have been lost due to tooth decay or periodontal disease.  Dentures are individually created for each patient to ensure optimal fit. In addition, we make sure that the tooth shape, size, and color is customized just for you.

Implant-Supported Complete Dentures

Complete dentures can also be designed so that they are held in place with dental implants. Implant-retained dentures offer many benefits that you may not receive with just conventional dentures, including increased retention and function in speaking and chewing. Removable Partial Dentures (RPD)

If you are missing a few teeth but are not ready for a fixed treatment option (a dental implant or a bridge), a removable partial denture may be an option for you. Removable partial dentures work well for many patients, are easy to take care of, match the shape and size of your existing teeth, and are highly comfortable and retentive. In addition, you can remove them nightly or after a meal - making them easy to clean and maintain.

A traditional removable partial denture contains a metal framework and metal clasps that engage your remaining teeth to ensure your appliance does not come loose when eating or speaking.

In addition to offering our patients this treatment option, we can also fabricate a flexible removable partial denture (Valplast RPD). While you may sacrifice some strength without the metal framework, the flexible denture does not contain any metal so it is more esthetic.

Removable partial dentures are a great way to restore lost function and ensure your teeth do not move in case you decide to eventually have a permanent, fixed option placed.
