Tooth-Colored Fillings in St. Louis, MO

While we all strive for perfect oral health, cavities do happen. Whether you need to have a cavity filled or wish to replace an old, dark filling with something more natural,  tooth-colored composite fillings are an option for you.

Each patient that comes to Gallant Dental Group receives customized care to ensure that their teeth are restored to properly reflect their personality and style. We use the most modern and up to date equipment and technology to ensure your appointment is quick, efficient, and painless.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Often, cavities that necessitate tooth-colored fillings are small and not able to be detected unless seen on a dental radiograph. These are cavities that can be seen by your dentist, but you often cannot feel.  This is why it’s so important to come and visit at least twice a year.

If caught early, these tooth-colored fillings can be quick, easy to treat, and minimally invasive. Composite fillings provide an advantage over silver amalgam fillings because they allow the dentist to remove minimal tooth structure, preserve as much healthy tooth as possible, and match the filling to the existing color of your tooth.

If left undetected, these small cavities can grow larger, leading to inflammation of the dental nerve, causing a  severe toothache and possible dental infection.

Cavities and tooth decay occur for many different reasons – whether as a byproduct of a high sugar diet, a lack of home dental care, or an extended absence from the dentist office. Dr. Richie Gallant offers cosmetic composite restorations to all of his patients to repair their cavities.

Cosmetic Bonding

Do you ever look in the mirror and notice small, but bothersome, chips, stains, or gaps on your front teeth?  Are you looking for a quick and economically feasible option to give yourself a whiter, brighter, and more confident smile? Cosmetic bonding may be an option for you.

For patients with minimal damage to their teeth, adding a small amount of tooth-colored composite material can alter your smile in a way that leaves you feeling more confident.  Composite can be used to cosmetically alter your smile while, at the same time, leaving your teeth relatively untouched.
