Dental Implants
At Gallant Dental Group, we are proud to offer implant services to our patients. Our implant planning process is thorough to ensure your result is esthetic, functional, and long-lasting.
Dental implants are an excellent option for tooth replacement. Whether you are missing one tooth, multiple teeth, or are struggling with an ill-fitting set of dentures, dental implants may be an option for you.
Why We Choose Dental Implants
Implants are great for any clinical situation – whether we need to replace missing teeth in the back that prevent you from chewing on one side, replace a front tooth that keeps you from showing off your beautiful smile, or to help retain a denture that always seems to be moving. We will tailor your dental implant treatment to your specific situation.
Dental implants have a high success rate, can be delivered in just a few short appointments, and are a proven long-term solution to missing teeth. Dental implants are advantageous because they allow you to replace missing teeth without drilling on adjacent teeth that may be otherwise healthy.
Our patients interested in implants receive an intra-oral examination and 3-D CBCT x-ray (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) to help us best plan where the implant should be placed. Your implant placement is planned digitally to ensure an optimal result. Often, we will use a computer-generated surgical guide to help maximize the accuracy of placement so our implant procedures are quicker, safer, and more predictable.
Implant-Retained Dentures
Do you find your dentures move when you talk or laugh? When was the last time you went to a restaurant and looked at the menu, confident you could order anything you wanted to eat?
Studies have shown increased patient satisfaction with implant retained dentures as a result of improved speaking ability, better denture retention, and more confidence in everyday movements like laughing and chewing. In addition, these patients exhibit greater overall health due to better nutrition and self-confidence.
With the high success rate and predictability of implant placement, we can make dentures more lifelike and functional than ever before. In addition to upgrading the way your teeth look, implant-retained dentures ensure that your dentures are stable and tight fitting.
In the long term, it has been shown that implants help to reduce the amount of bone loss associated with missing teeth. With dental implants, your dentures will be more functional and last longer than they ever have before.
